Power Nap

For those of you who work in NYC, and need some midday shut eye, I have news for you. If you haven't already heard, Yelo offers soothing soundproof "YeloCab" rooms for catnaps in comfy, "zero-gravity" lounges with aroma therapy, a cashmere blanket, and a slumber inducing soundtrack. You even get a light induced sunrise that will gently awake you when your time is up. Rates start at $15 for a 20 minute nap; $40 if you add a 10 minute massage or reflexology session.

Yelo is also the first US company to import - from Austria - the Alpha Lounger, a lounge chair which emits blue light and tonal vibrations. It's meant to induce alpha dream sleep-the one right before waking. The goal is to reduce stress, enhance creativity and recharge, but you can walk out feeling a tad disoriented. For some people, it may be better for the end of the day.
